The people behind LazyTextures, creating free CC0 assets for the 3D community.
Lorenz is the creator of the materials, HDRIs, and models on this site. He also takes on some programming tasks. Lorenz has been posting daily renders on Instagram for over 5 years and has been doing 3D modeling for almost 10 years. He is also the owner of this site.
LazyTextures was built on a simple idea: high-quality 3D assets should be free and accessible to every artist, regardless of budget. We create and release PBR materials, HDRIs, seamless textures, and 3D models under the CC0 license — meaning you can use them in any project, commercial or personal, with zero restrictions and no attribution required.
Whether you are just starting out in Blender, a freelancer delivering client work, or a studio that needs reliable assets fast, LazyTextures saves you time. Every asset on this site is created by hand, rendered, and quality-checked before release. The library grows continuously — follow us on social media or support us on Patreon to stay up to date with every new drop.
The project is entirely community-funded. No subscriptions, no paywalls, no catch. Just free, professional-grade assets for the 3D art community — for as long as possible.
Yes. Every material, HDRI, texture, and 3D model on LazyTextures is released under the CC0 license. You can use them in personal projects, commercial productions, games, films, architectural visualizations, or any other purpose — completely free, with no attribution required and no time limits.
Our assets work with all major 3D applications including Blender, Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine 5, Maya, Houdini, Octane, Redshift, Corona, Substance Painter, and more. Lazybridge, our free companion desktop app, makes imports into supported software a single click away — no manual setup needed.
Lazybridge is a free standalone desktop application that serves as an asset manager for your 3D software. You can browse and download LazyTextures assets directly inside the app and push materials, models, or HDRIs into Cinema 4D (Octane, Redshift, Corona), Blender, and Substance Painter with a single click — no complex node setup required.
LazyTextures is funded entirely by the community through Patreon. Every contribution helps cover server hosting, production equipment, and development time. Patrons receive exclusive step-by-step tutorials, early access to new assets before public release, voting rights on the roadmap, and a permanent spot on the Patron Wall on our homepage.
Patreon supporters at qualifying tiers can submit asset requests. We will create the requested material, texture set, HDRI, or 3D model and release it publicly as a free CC0 asset for the entire community. It is a great way to get exactly what your project needs while directly contributing back.
New assets are released on a regular basis. The release frequency depends on community support — the more the community backs the project, the more time Lorenz can dedicate to creating new assets. Follow on Instagram or YouTube, or join the Discord server, to get notified of every new release as it drops.
